Currently an opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to demonstrate his SCADA skills in terms of planning, design and project management.

As the SCADA Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Manage the delivery of the Design, Project Management, Purchasing, Maintenance and Operations of new and existing SCADA and Communications assets for substations and distributions automation projects.
• Prepare tactical planning of substation and distribution automation strategies to meet reliability and network objectives
• Assess and develop new technologies in regards to automation strategies.
• Supply technical design of SCADA systems.
• Influence internal and external stakeholders to improve engineering solutions

In order to be considered, the successful SCADA Engineer should posses:

-Previous experience in the telecommunication industry
-Tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications (recognised by Engineers Australia)

-Strong technical writing skills.

-Knowledge of SCADA systems (ideally)

-Strong communication and influential skills.

-MS Office systems, Word, Excel, Project or Access.

-Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency

-Be Perth based
